{Spring is coming}, I can feel it..it's in the air! :)
I love spring because it's a promise of summer
& it's warmer than winter but...
{yes there is a but}...the rain I don't love so much.
I was searching blog world & came across
this lovely spring wreath from Stone Gable (thank you for the idea).
She shows you how to make it
& I think she used two wreaths
wired together but I just use one wreath
(mainly because that is all hobby lobby had in stock the day I was there lol). I love the way it turned out.
Then bought some flowers I liked from Jo Ann's and winged it because I couldn't find the tutorial again lol (till today).
My supplies...
Twiggy wreath from hobby lobby (used 40% off coupon woohoo)
A thing of Pink spring flowers from Jo Ann's (they were 50% off)
& hot glue/hot glue gun
= $ 9.00
That's it! :)...
I usually don't say how much things cost to make but
this one I made for a great deal,
cheaper than you could buy most wreaths
for which is always awesome!
Oh & another awesome thing...my hubby came home that day and saw it and was like I really really like
your wreath you made & I don't like wreaths,
that made me happy lol.
**All I did was cut the bunch of flowers apart,
then cut them to be a tad bit longer than the wreath.
I then put hot glue on the ends of the stems and shoved them down into the wreath so they went the same direction as the twigs & glued the tops I cut off on the lower part of the wreath.
Tada you have a cute spring wreath...
Great work. It makes me want Spring!
